By His Stripes We Are Healed

The Word reveals that Christ-- He came and died for man,
We can be touched and healed by His nail-scarred hand.
He suffered grief untold, that day at Calvary,
But He rose and conquered death to set us free.

Chorus:
By His stripes we are healed-
If we could comprehend this truth then we would kneel.
He touched the lame and deaf and caused the blind to see.
Through His blood we're sealed and by His stripes we're healed.

If we have faith He gives us life abundantly.
Come unto Him as a child and just believe.
He will answer prayer according to His will.
What peace this brings to know that Jesus--He can heal.
