Purposed and Determined

I woke up this morning, the sun was shining bright.
The sky was so blue, not a cloud was in sight.
I got on my knees and asked the Lord above,
" What can I do for someone, to show them your love? ".

I've purposed and determined in my heart today,
To serve you, Jesus, no matter what comes my way.
I'll start each day with prayer and praises for you.
I've purposed and determined, it's the least I can do.

There'll be days when darkness around us will fall.
Blessings from yesterday, we'll have to recall.
If we humble ourselves to Jesus in prayer,
He'll be there to lift all our burdens and cares.

Satan will cause distraction in our lives,
Trying to get our eyes off the prize.
Through the blood there is power to cause him to flee.
Believe it and claim it and then you will see.
