Mary Pondered

                                                            

An angel came to a woman one day
Her mind was filled with fear
Fear not, he said, I bring good news
My God has found favor with you.

Mary pondered these things in her heart,

This babe I will bear- My burdens he'll share,
She pondered these things in her heart.

To Bethlehem she had to go
Her body was great with child.
No room could be found for the babe to be born,
In a stable he lay by next morn.

This babe I hold-I'm part of his fold
She pondered these things in her heart.

Shepherds came to the stable that night
A babe in a manger lay there.
Mary sat back as to watch as they gathered to see
The Savior that would set them free.

I'm part of God's plan to bring Jesus to man,
She pondered these things in her aheart.
